Pre-School
Diamond Gymnastics offers a very special pre-school experience for your child.
Our philosophy for children ages 15 months to 4 1/2 years is to teach gymnastics and fitness in a fun, safe environment with the objective of promoting basic coordination and raising the child's self esteem.
Diamond's classes are designed to include physical movement (jumping, climbing, tumbling, running, etc.) mixed with fun, to encourage motion skill development, coordination and confidence.
Classes are typically offered in 12 to 14 week sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring), Mondays to Saturdays. A limited 9 week Summer Session is also offered.
Parent and Tot (aka Mom and Me) classes are offered for children 15 months to 2 1/2 years old (Mom & Me I) and 2 1/2 to 3 years old (Mom &Me II).
3 1/2 to 4 year old classes (45 minutes), and 4-5 year old classes (55 minutes), which are taught without the parent, offer a little more structure and a little more gymnastics learning. An observation room or our deck lends itself to great viewing.
Ages 5 & Up
Classes are taught according to the age and ability of the student. Conditioning and physical development are by-products of the program, as participants are encouraged to learn more advanced skills.
Two levels of boys classes are offered and five levels of girls classes are taught.
Boys and girls are grouped for 5 to 7 year olds and ages 7 and up.
A boys beginner and advanced class is offered. Trampolines, power tumbling floor, rings and parallel bars are extensively utilized.
Girls classes are grouped according to the following levels and skill requirements:
Novice I - Beginners-Cartwheel / Handstand
Novice II - Roundoff / Back Walkover
Novice III - Back Handspring / Pullover
Intermediate - Roundoff Backhandspring
Skill terminology, proper body position and spotting technique are emphasized. Beams, vault, uneven bars and power floor, plus qualified instructors make for a rewarding experience.
Tumbling Classes and Team
Tumbling

55 minute sessions are designed to improve tumbling and jumping skills through extensive use of our spring floor, power tumbling track and trampolines.
